We expanded from 750 providers in 12 states to 1,193 NPI-verified mobile imaging providers across 49 states + DC. Every facility in America can now find mobile imaging services through one directory.
From 12 States to Nationwide
When we launched Stat Imaging three months ago, we covered 750 mobile imaging providers across 12 states. Primarily the Tri-State area, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
Today we are announcing nationwide coverage: 1,193 NPI-verified providers across 49 states + DC.
Every state in the continental United States now has at least one mobile imaging provider listed on Stat Imaging.
What This Means for Facilities
If you run a skilled nursing facility, home health agency, hospice, or assisted living community anywhere in the US, you can now:
- Search by ZIP code to find mobile imaging providers near you
- Filter by modality: X-Ray, Ultrasound, EKG, Echocardiogram, Bone Density, Doppler

What This Means for Providers
If you are a mobile imaging company, your listing is probably already live. We built it from your NPI registry data and enriched it with Google Places information.
Facilities in your coverage area can already see your company name, services, and coverage states. But they cannot see your logo, credentials, response times, or equipment details until you claim your profile.

How We Built It
Every provider in the Stat Imaging directory is sourced from the CMS National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry. That is the authoritative federal database of healthcare providers.
We extracted all NPIs associated with portable X-ray, diagnostic ultrasound, EKG, and related imaging taxonomy codes. Then we enriched each record with:
- Google Places data for ratings, review counts, and verified business addresses
- Service type classification mapped to our 6 modality categories
- Coverage area mapping at the state and city level from NPI and location data
- Equipment and credential data from claimed profiles and public records
The result is a directory that is both comprehensive and useful. Not a raw data dump. Not a generic healthcare listing. A purpose-built tool for finding and comparing mobile imaging providers.
