FOR IMAGING PROVIDERS
We check the billing, interfaces and security of imaging providers.
For portable x-ray operators and imaging centers, we review what was done against what was billed and what was paid, line by line. For sites running Mirth Connect or another HL7 engine, we check the channels that carry orders, images, reports and claims, and we write the security risk analysis the HIPAA Security Rule requires. Every engagement is an assessment and a written plan, under a signed agreement, with a business associate agreement before any patient data.
THE DIRECTORY
We also run a free directory of mobile imaging providers.
It is built from the CMS NPPES registry. Where a listing has an NPI on file we check it against the registry and show the date of the oldest check; a listing with no NPI on file says so and carries no badge. Facilities, agencies and families search it for free, and providers are listed for free. A provider who finds an error sends us a correction; a person checks it and updates the listing.
INDEPENDENCE
We do not bill for anyone, take referral fees, or sell placement.
Nothing is sold on this site, and nothing changes where a listing ranks: a search with a location is ordered by distance, and otherwise listings are ordered by whether the provider has an active NPI in the registry. The only thing we charge for is a review, at a fixed fee quoted after a call, and the report is yours.
