I was very pleased with the warm and professional treatment I received at the Lenox Hill Radiology Hewlett office. Betty clearly explained what would happen during the procedure. She was very articulate and thorough, and her soothing demeanor created a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The procedure itself was quick and almost painless. It was a great team effort.

I had appointment for ultrasound, it was my first time visiting Lenox Hill Radiology in Hewlette, I can tell you , I was absolutely blown out of professionalism of the front desk as well technician who performed my sonogram, all of them were very welcoming, had smile on their faces, and the all were very friendly, thank you

I had an appointment at Lenox Hill Radiology in Hewlett for an ultrasound and a pelvic exam, both of which are sensitive and intimate procedures. The two receptionists at the front desk were very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with the technician was the opposite. From the moment she called me in, she was cold and unfriendly. During the ultrasound, she gave little to no instruction about positioning, didn’t explain what she was doing, and was rough and careless. She got gel everywhere, which could have been avoided had she given me even the slightest bit of information and didn’t even wipe it off afterward. I have had an ultrasound once before, and this was nowhere near the level of professionalism I have experienced in the past. Throughout the appointment, she was abrupt and unprofessional. I was visibly uncomfortable, and instead of showing empathy or reassurance, she stopped the second exam midway and told me she “can’t do the exam.” She then made unnecessary comments about my provider and claimed the exam shouldn’t have been ordered, giving reasons that didn’t even relate to the procedure, and why I was getting it done. Again, gel was everywhere and she didn’t bother to give me anything to wipe it off. I was aware that she could have used a smaller tool to continue the exam, but at that point I wanted to leave, and so I didn’t argue. I thanked her and left, which is more than she deserved given that she barely even spoke with any kindness in her tone. As a patient, especially during such vulnerable exams, you expect to be treated with care, respect, and professionalism. That was not the case here. I left feeling upset and unsettled, and I truly hope no other young woman has to experience being treated this way. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so others don’t have to go through the same situation. And for the tech that barely even did her job, hope you can reflect upon your actions, and treat people with kindness at the very least (it’s really not that hard) Have the day you deserve.

Bedside manner of the entire facility from the front desk to the technician to the doctor was absolutely terrible. Front desk wast friendly barely wanted to speak. The technician left me in the changing room without explaining absolutely anything. I had to walk back outside of the changing room to give my belongings to my mother. The doctor was running a little late. I was left laying on my side arm up in the air for some time, she never even gave me anything to wipe myself off with from the jelly. The doctor came in late said she was going to explain everything as she was going along she didn’t do that and before she started when she had to spray the area or the swab with alcohol, and then wipe my skin off the alcohol that she sprayed got in my eye. Before she did the anesthesia, I told her that I was really in a lot of pain in the area that she was sticking me in. She said it would be OK when she stuck me. I screamed because of the pain she didn’t even ask me if I was Ok. She wasn’t very informative at all terrible bedside manner and walked right out after the end again I’m gonna say this place was terrible, especially when people are going there not knowing what’s going on with them. They could at least have the decency of being in somewhat in someway, considerate of people’s feelings and nervousness absolutely terrible. I would never go again.

I like when people who examine my body make me feel comfortable by conversation. I felt like they wanted to do their job and get me out of there. I don’t see anything wrong with that but I been through so many medical exams and test I just would feel comfortable when people would talk with me.That makes me comfortable. These people were very good and did their job, made me feel comfortable with the exam. They are nice and clean. I would go back there again.
