I do not know who made this policy, but I know that whoever made it, promoting sickcare, not a health care! Back in February of 2025 on behalf of my Univ. student daugher, I've called to set up an appointment for a mammogramm. Her problem had to be adressed immidiately. Our family doctor (who also was my daugher's family doctor) resigned about 3 weeks prior to this day and we had to wait untill the new doctor will see as for the first time (which is had to happened in approx.1 month). When I called, receptionist told me that if my daugher is not a 40 years old, she need referral from her famdoc, while I explained that we are waiting for an aptm. with a new doc. Then she said that we have to wait untill that. I said if that is up to insurance (and my daugher has a good med insur.), we do not mind to pay out of pocket in full. She said - unfortunately this is policy! I want to emphasize that there was a problem, not because my daughter wanted to receive a dose of radiation for no reason! My question to all who made this policy, first of all: WHO made it? What document states it ? Seems like that AMA or who ever is responsible for that rules waiting untill it's too late to fix the problem? All my family was very disappointed in that facility, considering the fact that my mother retired from Pardee, my grandma had several surgeries in Pardee and all my family used Pardee for more than 33 years as a preferred health care facility. Now, I am at the point to find out who signed and managed this untihealth policies.

I am so impressed with the team that performed my breast biopsy on 2/28. Christine, Melissia, and Glenda could not have been more supportive, friendly, professional and funny - what a great crew! And Dr. Prechter conducted it with a minimum of fuss, also supportive and informational. Great bedside manner. Everytime I have been to this facility, or spoken with someone on the phone, I have been impressed. Kudos to you all for making an uncomfortable procedure not only bearable, but also pleasant.

Had to bring my daughter in for a procedure. It's always a vulnerable feeling in these situations but I have to say everyone at Pardee made us feel very welcome and they were very caring with my daughter. Great experience here and even though nobody wants to need a visit to the hospital, they made it as pleasant as possible. Thank you Pardee staff!

Great bedside manner. I came on for a breast ultrasound and the staff are so caring. The doctor was very informative. They have the latest tech. The waiting time was long I was called an hour after my appointment.

Having been to the Radiology department at Pardee Hospital for 5 appointments now. I have found the staff to be friendly and respectful. The Radiology exams techs treat you with dignity, respect and are knowable and experienced in the area of their training. They ensure you are comfortable going with the different Radiology tests from the start until the finish. The only downside I have found is the waiting time. With a firm appointment time, I have waited 30-45 minutes at times. Not a down fall for just this one department at Pardee, but a on going tread at all Pardee Hospital departments.
