i was told nothing was wrong but my finger was actually sprained and my doctor was lowkey weird 🫩👍 by lowkey weird i mean he said that there was nothing he could do and that all i should do is “make sure no one bumps into those pretty hands with nails” 😭— he also kept calling me honey and did some exam where i had to hold and release his finger and he said “don’t worry you won’t hurt me” like that’s not the point???? the point is my joint is locking and when i can bend it, there’s popping in the joint. um yeah, if you need to be seen by someone near orange, go to the YNH urgent care across the street next to the dunkin

I've been to this facility multiple times. And every time I've had a positive experience. It's never a long wait. Keep in mind it's an urgent care so if you're looking for some in depth care with tlc and a lollipop at the end you should get a referral from your primary doctor and see that orthopedist. But if you need something quick and effective go to COUC

Poor Experience – Unprofessional and Dismissive I recently visited this office and was taken aback by the level of unprofessionalism I encountered. Prior to my arrival, I called to confirm the office hours and was told they closed at 7 PM. I arrived at 6 PM, expecting to be seen within that time frame. Upon arrival, I was triaged by the receptionist, who seemed more focused on turning me away than providing assistance. It felt as though the PA had already instructed her to deter me from being seen, likely because they were preparing to leave for the day. The receptionist gave multiple excuses for why I couldn’t be seen, which prompted me to remind her that she’s not a medical provider and shouldn’t be making triage decisions. Eventually, she went to the back to speak with the PA and returned with the message that I should follow up with a spine specialist instead. I insisted on being seen, and after some delay, I was finally brought back. Once in the exam room, an X-ray technician told me she would take some images, but that never happened. A short time later, the PA entered, gave a rushed and superficial exam, and repeated exactly what had already been relayed to me through the receptionist. Overall, I felt dismissed, rushed, and unwelcome — as if my insistence on being seen had inconvenienced them. While the PA ultimately saw me, it was clear she did the bare minimum, likely just to check a box and leave for the evening. I left the office feeling frustrated and disrespected. Patients deserve to be treated with care and professionalism, especially when visiting during posted business hours.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this location. I felt a lack of empathy and was given inaccurate information. During my visit, I was essentially told that I could see the doctor, but there was nothing he could do to help me. This was disheartening and lacked any consideration for my concerns. Furthermore, I was provided with incorrect information regarding a follow-up appointment I had scheduled in Branford. I urge the practice to train their staff on basic empathy and the importance of accurate communication. The individual at the front desk misrepresented information and demonstrated poor interpersonal skills. I strongly recommend considering alternative locations. Sad.

Dr. Marino of Connecticut Orthopedics is a caring and thorough doctor and has helped my mother in many ways. However when it came to scheduling her MRI there was confusion and miscommunication and my Mother had to wait 2 weeks to get the appointment.
