I am very disappointed. I wish I could give lower than star one. Was told they only can treat seizures and unable to treat migraines and headaches that are also happening. The nurse stated that the doctor told her that she is not that kind of neurologist. Also stated that is no evidence or correlation between seizures and migraines even though you can have a migraine or headache before and after a seizure and can even be a sign you are about to have seizure. They kept say we will only treat the seizures. One call to another clinic and found a neurologist that can do both. We are going that neurologist because how can you treat someone and when your are not treating all of their symptoms?

He reviewed the history prior to the visit which was excellent. I was even more impressed that we were allowed the time & opportunity to share detailed information pertinent to the medical history that couldn’t be read in the chart. The visit duration was appropriate and we were not rushed. The doctor was knowledgeable, personable, compassionate, and *I felt heard. He is willing to collaborate with the care team for my son’s ultra-rare medical condition. This is essential to optimize my son’s quality of life and aid in the international research studies he is part of in hopes to help other families in the future. There are no evidenced based practice guidelines or standards of care for medications or treatments to meet my son’s personal needs and goals— truly a special & talented provider to accept the task. I would highly recommend this neurologist and have already shared his praises. I am grateful to be working with him. Thank you!

Dr. Chatman is a one and done search for your Epi doc. Very thorough and very easy to tell she cares from your first meeting. She will be my doctor until she retires!

Dr. Agarwal was my 12 year old daughter’s neurologist for the last four years since the onset of her seizures that landed her in United hospital in January of 2021. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Agarwal and his team! The front desk was always friendly upon check in and very helpful when scheduling appointments. Every nurse/technician that completed my daughter’s biannual EEGs was not only beyond friendly and approachable, but also very informed and thorough in their process. Each one of Dr. Agarwal’s nurses I met along the way were also very kind, responsive, helpful, and supportive. Now onto to Dr. Agarwal- I couldn’t think of a better neurologist/doctor to treat my daughter. He is clearly one of the best at what he does! He is also great at delivering the information in a way that is easy for a family and patient to understand. And I also have to mention how genuinely kind and caring he is. Very hard to find a doctor that checks every box imaginable! I left each appointment feeling well informed and knew we were in the best hands possible. Yesterday, we received the great news that my daughter likely outgrew the type of epilepsy she had, but there was a time a couple years ago that her EEGs indicated that she was not responding to her medications any longer as she should (despite not having any known seizures). It was doctor Agarwal’s thoroughness with medicine changes, psychological testing, genetic testing, etc that got us back to a stable condition in record time. I have no doubt that without his expertise and ability to think of other alternatives that would yield positive outcomes, we may not have been so lucky to “graduate” from MN Epilepsy Group yesterday. Although Dr. Agarwal assured us he is always around if we need him, we obviously hope we won’t find the need to return 😊. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank each and every one of you enough- especially Dr. Agarwal. There truly are no words.

Dr.Currier has been my son's neurologist for about seven years now, and we absolutely love her. She is always prompt to get back to us with issues, treats us like family, talks to us in depth about all of the medications, all the procedures, the pros the cons, everything that's involved with the treatment. She always asks how we feel about things and involves us in all of the decisions. We would highly recommend her.
