When I walked in for an MRI in November, I was told that I had to pay $35.15 because I had Medicare insurance. I was never asked if I had a secondary insurance. The statement was made everyone has to pay the $35.15 or you’re not getting a scanned if you have Medicare. My secondary insurance paid Palmetto imaging the $35.15 so when I walked in the office asking for my money, of course they referred me to a billing department, which is ran by a third-party. When I complained to the manager, she said you’re supposed to tell us you have a secondary insurance. What are we mine readers? I don’t think that that was the proper attitude or the proper protocol of dealing with patients. UPDATE: After consulting with Palmetto Imaging & Billing Dept, we were able to reconcile and I received a refund for this amount. Thank you Palmetto Imaging for the effort put forth!

The staff was inviting and comforting, the facility was clean and located in a great area, I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Everyone was wonderful, extremely caring and professional. Chan was fantastic, her smile and her welcoming personality was exactly what you would want greeting you when getting medical care. Michael did an excellent job, as he explained everything and was extremely patience, especially when the patient was in pain. I have Been waiting to get an MRI for my Lumbar Spine. I made the appointment over a week ago and gave my new insurance details and was scheduled for Thursday morning for MRI and received thd text Monday afternoon my appointment was canceled, due to I was out if network and I asked when scheduled did they accept my insurance. Was told yes. My problem is I am in pain and go to pain clinic once a month and I need this MRI to get a pain injection in my spine. I have lose the use of my right arm. I have spinal stenosis. Poor place. I have Been there before snd honestly didn’t believe what bad experience others had had. Sorry, I will never go back

I love this location because it is easy to get to, and you don’t sit for 30 minutes waiting to be seen. The front desk gals are friendly and personable—and they have great senses of humor. The office is comfortable and well maintained. The lady who did my MRI, Sharon, and the tech, Donna, made the experience great. They didn’t rush me through, and we were able to chat a bit. Great to be treated like a human being. I always insist on going here because I feel better going out than I felt coming in. Good people skills are a real gift. Oh, they also do an MRI that your doctor appreciates and can read easily.
