My wife Karen Reevers was transferred from UAB Gardendale Emergency. To St. Vincent, Hospital, Birmingham. She was very sick during this time. When she arrived at St. Vincent they supplied her with a room on the 7th floor. During her stay at the Hospital, you could not have asked for a more professional staff. The doctors kept her informed of what they are seeing with the test results and made sure that Karen and I were informed of the plan and that we agreed. To the plan to correct her problem .Communication from the Doctors was timely and informative. I can not say that enough about the Nursing and their support staff. I feel that my wife has made friend for life, even is she does not see them again. She has also shared this about the the young lady that cleaned her room In Summary. I’m glad that wife is home and feeling better. This would not have been possible, without the support of the Doctors, Nurses, and their support staff. My wife wants to say thanks to the housekeeping staff , you were professional as well and added to my wife experience. I’m writing this on behalf of my wife. I Love this lady and your support, allowed her to be with me a little while longer. You are a blessing to me that I Love. Thanks

I live close to St Vincent, and I have a history of migraines. I've learned that St Vincent's goal, or concern in not about the patient. I've been to St Vincen's ER three times for migraines since I moved to Birmingham. To St Vincent, it doesn't matter if you are in the ER for a migraine or a paper cut. My last visit was Tuesday 02/03/2026 for a migraine and I was in the ER 3hrs, then I was called to the back. I was held in a room another hour before I was treated for pain. I experience was much the same when I had 2nd degree burns on my hand a few years back. I even wrote the hospital's CEO expressing my concerns and I receive no response from the CEO or the hospital. This hospital's staff display's no concern for the Patient, and I do not intend to go back to this hospital for any treatment.

I had a knee replacement at St. Vincent’s UAB and cannot say enough great things about my experience. The staff was amazing, and MK and Aprielle were hands down two of the best nurses I’ve ever had. They were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. They truly went above and beyond. I’m very grateful for the outstanding care I received!

I am writing this from the outer limits of the St. Vincent's ER. My mother's rheumatologist called her yesterday to strongly urge her to check into an Emergency Room based on some recent labs. When she had a stroke recently, my mother was treated at St. Vincent's and had good reports about everything except the food. So we asked the ambulance to take her there. People have been nice and mostly attentive since we arrived fifteen hours ago, but she was told twelve hours ago that she had to be admitted and she would be in the ICU. We have waited ever since for a room in the hospital to be ready. An hour ago, staff came and rather hurriedly moved her from one ER exam room to here in Siberia with the news that no room was ready yet. Her meds were not given to her until the wee hours of the morning due to pharmaceutical delays. She hasn't yet had a bite of food. Needless to say

I can not tell you how impressed I was at this Hospital, all nurses, staff, facilities and doctors were phenomenal! ER was fast and efficient, Dr's Wade and Dr. Barrantes were great, met and got a new cardiologist, Dr Munish Goyai and two of his associates. I was completely shocked at how easy of an experience everything was. This is how it should be! The only slight problem was that there was no hot water in my restroom and the shower looked like it had been redone by someone who was doing their first ever job! That however was completely unnoticed by me because of the care I received! 2nd chance review: My wife is to have surgery and pre-op testing was awesome. Shout-out to the lady, Kristin, that coordinates pre-op testing being very efficient with clear and concise instructions and very friendly.
