I was fortunate enough to attend my son's graduation from the fireman Academy at this location. During the presentation, we were told that it was built in 1929. The seating was comfortable and I had a great view of the stage.

Useful venue with comfortable seating, easy acoustics and appropriately detailed appointments. Think more of an older high school's auditorium and less like a music hall. The entrance, restrooms and common area need a bit more attention and then I'd give 5 stars. For me ⭐⭐⭐⭐ is generous but fair. Also need to note that the show we experienced was FANTASTIC, also raising the bar!

I have been to several recitals at the Winyah Auditorium and I have always enjoyed them all. It is a great venue in Georgetown and also has a lot of History for the locals. I also went to see the Sugar Plum Fairies around Christmas time. My mom and I took my 2 girls and they loved it. #ladykaren #captjody #mygeorgetown #myladykarenshrimp #shrimplife #shoplocal #eatlocal
