I called to ask if they were one of the facilities that had violated EMTALA and they immediately hung up on me. Based on this behavior, I’m assuming the answer is yes. Seek a different facility for your loved one’s mental health care.

I was in the adult inpatient unit. I'd say this place is a bit worse than other mental hospitals I've been to. Mainly because the layout of the unit makes it so that you'll likely be hearing staff and patients talking loudly outside your bedroom all day, from 6 AM to 10 PM. The food is ok.

I called the HCA number and spoke with Lexi - the rudest and snottiest telephone receptionist I have ever encountered. I tried to explain the lack of mental health care (tv psych will call at 11:30 at night and prescribe more drugs and he spoken with me for a total of 5 minutes over two weeks have not bothered to reach out to my real psychiatrist). Lexi rudely informed me I had to reach out to my team / I have not heard from the social worker Kelley for days, the attending doctor Susan Savage is the worst provider I have had in 59 years and all they have done is milk the instance for two weeks without any type of treatment. From experience run as fast as you can from HCA. Absolutely bill your insurance and do as little as possible RUN AWAY - frankly when you hear Lexi pick up the phone you will know exactly how unprofessional HCA is and you will get why I say RUN RUN AWAY - don’t let them steal your money

Don’t let the reviews scare you as parents. Just do your part and follow thru with the steps. They were all actually very good to our daughter who was there involuntarily, and we had no issues showing them our network plans and that we were fully capable of taking care of the situation. We discharged after the 72 hour hold without issue. Just wanted to write the review for parents who care about their children as we were panicked and scared after reading the bad reviews. We were actually so panicked that we camped in their parking lot. No one bothered us there. Keep your head up and know that they will properly care for your child here. Always… Go with God.
