This morning, I had a mammogram and a bone density test and was very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the Technician Lori. She was gentle and efficient and I was very pleased with her care. The office staff was also very nice. They are the reason I have as much testing done at Grand Junction Diagnostics as I can!

My radiologist was really nice. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars instead of zero. My DEXA scan results were completely inaccurate other than my bone density reading. I’m 130 lbs & fit. The machine measured my body fat % at 31.3%. I’ve never been measured over 25% with every other form of body fat measurement. I have to call into question the calibration of the machine, and the accuracy of using a bone density machine as a way to test soft tissue in general. It seems criminal to charge $80 for results that are *supposed* to be within 1% accuracy. It seems like a cash grab. Maybe the machine needs to be calibrated, or maybe this method of body composition measurement has been completely overhyped. Maybe it’s not the “gold standard” people have been led to believe it is!

I had scheduled an appointment with them in august only to show up and told there was no appt. They had made a mistake and scheduled 3 days prior and marked me a a no call no show. Scheduled again and had the same issue the next time I called in to verify my appointment. Very unimpressed and treated poorly by the front desk as if all of this was my fault. I showed the texts confirming my appts and that this was all of their mistakes. Finally I asked my doctor to resubmit through GJ pavilion as they are a million times better than here.

5 stars for the blood draw department! Came in for a routine annual physical, quick & easy in and out. Friendly, helpful staff. I've had mine done many times throughout the years and that's not always the case so, worth a review

I came here to have a mammogram and get a second opinion on 6/7/2021. They seem very organized with the check in, paperwork and payment processes. The photos show where I went into this pretty area to change clothes. You can see some doors off to the side and that is the changing room and there's also a restroom. I met with the technician, who was very professional, and made me feel at ease during a not so pleasant process. My experience was positive.
