Wonderful MRI appointment here at the Newberg location. Jena and Ahsan were so wonderful and kind, made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Jennifer too, at the front desk, super friendly. I left thinking "that was actually fun!" Everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful. I've been going to get my mamograms for years at this hospital. They have always been kind and compassionate. I always feel so safe there. I went yesterday ..I told Jenniffer K. I had alot of anxiety ..my mother was just diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 85 ..she was not supportive ..seemed very irritated, short and curt that I had anxiety..and stated that "85 year olds don't get triple negative breast cancer...hard to believe that" I mean this was not professional and very undermining behavior. I was very honest ..about having the anxiety..it is what it is ..and was not expecting that response . I would really suggest she get some training on how to deal with patient's and re-read Providence's Mission Statement. You are in the business of caring for people who have many issues going on . So be kind !

This ER knew I am infertile and I just received my ER bill showing they STILL PROCEEDED to unbeknownst to me charged me 79.00 for the urine panel for pregnancy. How dare this hospital know I'm infertile and charge my insurance for UNNECESSARY testing. I wasn't even in there with a need for urine or blood testing. So for the entire urinalysis the pregnancy testing portion ALONE was 79.00. How do they get away with pee testing that costs 1 dollar at Walmart close to 100 in their eyes? And on a woman with missing organs and no tubes! I'm furious and will be telling my insurance after this review how I am infertile as THEY KNOW and this hospital milked my bill knowing this information. Don't trust this ER to listen. Dont trust they will do things ethical if your insurance covers a lot, you are a big dollar sign to them they will suck all the extras from. Guess what the 80 dollar pregnancy tests said! I'm still infertile! Funny they never told me they tested me. Just billed me for it!

I had a MRI appointment today 01/06/24. Total wait time while filling out the necessary paperwork is less than 10-15 minutes. Brian the MRI nurse verified my information to ensure I am the right patient for the right MRI imaging. He was courteous and respectful while informing me to remove any jewelry, watch, and anything above the waist. Brian also told me there is a cabinet to put your clothes, shoes, and handbags that you can lock with a key. (The key can be put on the desk outside the MRI room. ). Kate, the MRI nurse that performed the scan explicitly and clearly communicated the MRI procedure process. Kate answered my question about the length of time and what not to do while in the MRI machine which is concise and clear. Also, Kate is attentive asked me if I wanted a warm blanket, gave me disposable ear plugs , padded the headphones to ensure they stay in place. I was also allowed to bring a small soft & squishy plushie to fidget with while I am in the MRI machine so long as I don't move too much. In addition, Kate asked if I wanted to get updates on when the MRI would pause so I can scratch my nose. Overall, I am very happy with my MRI scan experience. Kudos to Brian and Kate for making the experience endurable and less stressful. Keep up the awesome work!

Normally they are great.Yet I went for my annual mammogram and because I needed an ultrasound also I was denied my mammogram.I was told I had to reschedule for another day.I am a high risk patient in regards to breast cancer and appointments are a weeks out..I was told I'd have to get an order for said ultrasound from my dr.because there were no techs available to do an ultrasound.In the entire hospital??!! Really??!! So I was visibly upset crying and I didn't get her name doesn't matter.I am not happy with this person.This was after I told her I had breast pain and felt a lump.Not professional on her part.
