My stay at this facility was amazing. Everything from the ER doctors and nurses, to the ortho guys, to the shift nurses -- care was knowledgable, integrated, hands-on, and most of all, compassionate. I am so grateful that my injury happened near this facitility and that is where I went. (Not so grateful for the injury, but if it had to happen, I was in the right place). I'm grateful for every individual who I met in my 4 days there -- they were all outstanding.

Pagosa Springs Medical Center continues to give outstanding care, especially in their EMERGENCY ROOM! Over the past several years, we have rushed to the ER several times. We especially want to thank all of the ER staff for the immediate, professional and thorough care that I was given twice this month! I did not have to wait for examination and testing to begin. All test results were given immediately and fully explained. The very best in courtesy and expertise by three ER physicians was extraordinary!! We are fortunate to have access to excellent emergency care, particularly at this time when rural medical care is at a political crossroads. I called multiple times to make an appointment, and I even left a voice mail. They kept sending me to different departments, and finally, they said to just walk in. So I walked into the clinic, checked in, and waited. Waited for 2 hours and nothing, had to cancel and go back to work. They could have told there were multiple people in front of me

I recently had to visit the emergency room in the middle of the night here after experiencing some rough altitude sickness. Nurses Jamie and Tyler were so kind, quick, and attentive to help me. Dr Daniel Renner (I’m probably spelling his name wrong) also was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The team had me feeling better quickly, which I was grateful for their care being in the depths of the middle of the night.
